I too am still sorting through the statments. I will have much more to say later. I was shocked to hear him state that CW4 Mcmoneagle was not a Remote Viewer but only a Psychic :(

I am adult, and I have considered the information, and I have decided for myself.

I have listened to Ed Dames every time he has been on Art Bell. I have recorded the programs and listened more than once. I first heard him call in for a half hour back in 1996 speaking about the jet stream dropping down, frogs mutating, and babies dying. It sounded credible to me.

When Ed Dames went to Hawaii to teach an acquaintance of mine, I bought an airline ticket and flew there to the Big Island of Hawaii. I rented a car and paid for a hotel room, just for the opportunity to meet Ed Dames and speak to him in person. I found him witty, charming, intelligent, friendly.

I purchased the Psi Tech TRV training course.

I visited the PSI tech website and chatted amicably with Joni Douriff and others in their chat site.

My skeptical sense started twitching a bit when Ed began speaking of an alien engineered plant pathogen, attached to Hale Bopp Comet, sent to wipe out all green plant life on earth. He stated without equivocation that all green plant life would be killed by mid 1998, leaving billions of humans starving to death. He said with 100% certainty, based on his remote viewing, that we would be eating chlorella and earthworms in the summer of 1998.

My skepticism grew as Ed continued to appear on Art Bell’s show with ever more outlandish predictions of catastrophe. Killer solar flares, the biblical apocalypse. The time frames keep changing. Two months ago Ed said, "We will not make it to Y2K." Now the date has changed to 2001, for the killer solar shot.

As a student I have been diligently studying to become a remote viewer. I have some work posted on this website. I would put my work up against Ed’s any day. (And I just might.) I am beginning to get an idea of what remote viewing is and how it works. It has been very disappointing for me to see examples of Ed Dames remote viewing work. His session on the Holy Grail in Module Two of the TRV training tapes. His session on the reason for Art Bell’s departure. I look at the work and see nothing of any value. Its all random lines and esoteric terms like "transformative, " and "strange," "omnipocent." Same for Joni’s session on the helicopter crash.

I don’t consider this remote viewing.

It was disturbing for me to read the Joe McMoneagle fax in which Joe flatly states that Ed Dames was never the commander of the Fort Meade remote viewing unit. That Ed Dames was never a remote viewer. Ed’s sessions make more sense to me now that I have learned that was never even trained beyond the 3rd stage of CRV.

So I have decided for myself. No one wanted to believe Ed Dames more than me in the beginning. I thought he was THE remote viewer. I worshipped at the altar of Ed Dames.

But here is what I have concluded:

• Ed Dames is not a remote viewer.

• He never held a command position in the military.
• He was briefly a part of the bureaucracy at the Fort Meade unit, but his superior recommended he be transferred out of the unit after just one tour.
• His predictions are delusional.

I’m tired of trying to speak intelligently about remote viewing, and having people say, "Oh remote viewing. That’s that guy on the late night radio show who says the world’s going to end next month."

Lest you (Joni) think that I am some kind of Glenn Wheaton parrot I will say that Glenn defends TRV as a valid form of remote viewing, and he also very shy about saying anything negative about Major Dames. In Glenn’s words, "The man was an officer and earned my respect."

He had my respect, but lost it as the facts became known to me.

"His predictions are delusional".

As to the above,possibly…but have you noticed the

`pattern’ which is very apparent , after last night’s
show?…

The amending of his predictions, and moving them out into the future?

I am thinking more and more he is milking the gullible

new people,(Christian sector)and in it merely for the sales of his TRV tapes!

First it was the dropping of the Plant Pathogen, now it seems that the CME is been canceled, in lieu of the

`mark of the beast’ scenario,scheduled in the form of
an AIDS Vaccine gone wild, for 2001+

What he does is reprehensible,and along with him Art

btw all: I found out that Kuria island in the Gilbert

chain,where he stated that Amelia Earharts plane was,
is about 400 kilometers or so west of Nikumaro,the island where the Tigard Org. expedition is slated to
go in the Summer of `99, as this is where they believe
they will find the plane!!
of course this was in National Geographic Jan `98 and published on their website, for two years!!

When it comes to Dames, Art makes no bones about backing him up against all comers and critics. He defends him "rigorously". There is no intent to let the audience make up their own minds.

About a month ago, I got into a discussion with some of Ed’s students on the Java-Chat page Psi-Tech runs. They all rabbidly believed the CME would happen on schedule, and outrighted mocked me for having any doubts at all. Furthermore, one of them had the gall to suggest that "learning TRV would help me to survive". [talk about powerful advertising :-) ]

And now, poof. "What CME?"… Perhaps Ed just needed a good excuse to get hold of some time in Hawai’i?

I am still waiting for the first student who can predict geophysical events…..they are so easy with TRV.

The word is ORRERY. I have to look it up when I was typing his transcripts.

I think Dames said the vaccine was to show up in 3 to 3 1/2 ears. He also said the CME was in 2001 but gave no indication of ‘when’ in 2001. It is now November 16th of 1998 and there is only 3 years and about 6 weeks until 2002.

This is all so ludicrous that I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. What fatal scenario has he missed? The only one I can think of would be just the entire Earth suddenly blowing itself to smithereens. If that is going to happen….let it come….so I can get on with my next life!!!!
