New Students

New Students

HI! JUST A REMINDER

1. Checking to see if you have learned your Visual Ideogram protocols, for tomorrow’s class. That means you can execute them flawlessly and quickly

without referring to your notes :)

Glenn will be monitoring you for a few more classes, until you to get used to the timing and cadence of working quickly, and to implement new protocols.

Very soon, you will just be given the target ID and you will be expected to proceed on you own.

Also, if you have not already discovered it, click on "Analysis" on the Menu bar, Glenn has posted more information on visual ideograms with examples.

2. HOMEWORK: first make a copy for your records, then bring the originals to class and turn them in to me.

See you on Sunday :)

Aloha Yaana

Dear Yanna,

Re: 2. HOMEWORK…..I’m sorry if I sound obtuse with this question but I don’t have any homework to make a copy of. Was some homework assignment given to the 4:30 Sunday class? If so, I completely missed it. I would appreciate clarification.

Hi George…

I’m sort of the homework junkie of the group.
No one is going to really ever assign anything.
There are currently 9 (or is it 12, I forget) targets up on the website. Use them to practice your visual ideograms. Bring the results to class.

If you take the link (under links on our page) to the Firedocs remote viewing page.. you will find a whole bunch of targets. They have different IDs than you are used to… like fdpic 001. But you can use that as an ID. Blackboard it and go to it.

Hint number 1: Glenn is looking for self starters

Better get to work!

PS Don’t take this as criticism. We’ll help you along. No one has been kicked out of our little group. One of our all-stars (Valtra) turned in her first homework last Friday! But unless you can get by with natural psychic abilities you will need to do some work at home.

If you ever need targets, email me. I’ve got a bunch, designed for various stages. I’ll give you the cue, along with the feedback in the form of a JPEG image. Its a good thing to do some practice at home, where only YOU see the results, and you can get the feedback right away in private. Lessens performance anxiety and builds confidence.

Good luck. We’re pulling for you.

Hi George,

Dick explained it very well, and yes we did tell
each class to both practice the protocols until you knew them perfectly and that there were targets available on our web site, as well as links to other sites with targets on which to practice your visual ideograms. We told both classes that your could do several of the same target number, before you looked to see what the target photo was. This way you would not use up targets so fast, and you would get closer and closer to the target with each repetition.

See you tomorrow…oops today :)

Aloha Yaana

Just so you don’t feel bad I’ll tell you a story.
I kind of just cruised through the first 6 or 7 weeks of classes without asking questions. I was…sort of paying attention.

I missed an important element of one of the protocols.

No one ever pointed it out, and I didn’t ASK. Finally, after we were way beyond that particular stage I did ask a question about it. Turns out I was doing something pretty darn stupid. When I got set straight I started getting much better data.

So good for you for asking about the homework. I bet there are 12 other students who were unsure what the deal was. And you helped clarify things for them.

Yaana posted something earlier about the lack of questions/comments/posts by new students. You had a whole bunch of new stuff thrown at you real fast, and you’re about to get a bunch more.

Now on to spontaneous ideograms. Good luck.

Aloha George: Regarding the comment made by Dick below about my not having done any homework over the past 8 months. I guess I was caught in the trap "this is too easy" and although that’s not the only reason I didn’t do a lot of homework ( work schedule, life circumstances, lack of proper environment at home etc. are contributing factors), the fact that Remote Viewing came easily for me, I wasn’t really motivated to do a lot of homework. I got enough positive feedback during classes. And it took a lot of tweeking from Glenn and Dick for me to stay interested. However, since I started to do more homework regularly, I have felt a definite shift in the quality of the data I collect and in the clarity. Doing two to three Homework Skeds a week is definitely recommended for rapid advancement. Then you can get to do some REALLY interesting targets.

Welcome to the Guild. Aloha, Valtra.

Good Morning Valtra,

Thanks for the advice. I guess this is a classic case of, "When you believe it, then you will see it." I truly appreciate your help. Mahalo, Geo. M.

Dear Dick,

Thanks to the positive feedback from Yaana, Valtra and youself, I will not be so reticent in asking what I think (at the time) are lame questions. The open encouragement received, goes a long way towards helping neophyte members feel that they are joining something worthwhile by becoming involved with the Guild. Mahalo, Geo.M.

I am glad you think so, RV has added many aspects to my life from very profound to fun and entertaining. Remember when doing homework…. We get it all ! whether you think it was a hit or a miss. There are many forms of visual ideograms, see Analysis on the Menu, and you may not realize you have had a hit, if it is Warcollier or ABA style.

So bring it all in, we are not going to grade you but we need to see all of your work, and maintain a history file to understand how each individual is developing target contact, it is important to the analyst.

See You in Class :)
Aloha Yaana
