If you are in Hawaii and want to get on to the Psi-Tech chatsite, your out of luck. They have K-lined most of the servers. GTE and AOL/Compuserve are the only ones still with access.

A perfect example was Joni’s call to the Sightings radio show last night pretending to be Sharon from Santa Monica in a vain attempt to discredit Lyn and to promote Ed Dames.

When you see someone else being disruptive and attempting to panic the populace everyone should speak out. The obsession is Psi-Techs’ obsession with Doom and their progmulgation of the same.

The interest to me is that TRV is a viable RV platform and there are TRV’rs that don’t subscribe to the dooms of the day. In addition Psi-Tech is shaping up to be the next Heavens Gate crew. They pretty much meet all the cult criteria in my book. What they do does reflects on all remote viewers.

Didn’t Heavens Gate kill themselves?I havent heard Ed ask the audience to do such.I believe that comparison is a bit extreme.What impresses me about Psitech is they are making the skill available to anyone. Those who learn it will eventually find the answers out for themselves.Now you may have a beef with them and I do not know the details as to why but I am only presented with one side of the debate so I cannot judge. I will now purchased the Psi Tech Remote viewing tapes based on your assesment that they are a viable platform to learn Remote Viewing and find out those answers for myself.

I didn’t hear the show nor do I know what Joni’s voice sounds like. I would submit that howver as a reasonable assumption (and my intuition agrees)… what did she say?
That may be the direction that psi-tech is going. I don’t know how far Ed will take it past the financial portion of this agenda. It is obvious that he has no regard for humanity; but would Bill Gates do the same if he thought there was money in it. I don’t know if Ed had plannedon it growing into this monster… now he feels he has to come up w/ new and more elaborate… "like a thief in the night."
It seems to me that Joni may be the one who is really running the show and taking advantage of Ed’s complexes. If this is the case will all know how unstable she is.
The thing that upsets me the most is the panic they are spreading, there of course is going to be an apocolyptic craze as we approach the millenium… so buy TRV and save yourself… yeah right! They can no longer survive on that alone so they must discredit everyone else but it is not paradoxical that in doing so they are reaping that which they have tried to sow. Are they in danger of chaper 11 of course not… this happens gradually, by his own statements psi-tech cannot last much longer because there will be nobody left to purchase his tapes. How is he helping humanity? We have a birthright of destruction? LET US DECIDE THAT!!! He, of course, will teleport onto an alien spacecraft (I didn’t hear that Joni will be coming with him) and we will suffer… what a nice guy. But it is this type of thing that attracts a cult of followers. There is already a cult in existance, it is very apparent if you take a look at his bb’s, not that any of us can. Where this cult will end… i don’t know but it will eventually one way or the other. I would be willing to bet that if Ed were to ask some of his students to kill themseves in order to board a UFO, they would. This is exactly the position that Ed likes… control.
Does this discredit Rv… unfortunately it does. But you cannot force people to change, you can suggest, even provide the means but they have to want it. Show them the truth… but they have to be opened minded enough to want to see it. "Attitude is everything." I have heard people suggesting a lawsuit to "shut him up," but I believe this will have the opposite, they hgave a very well developed game plan. This has been the reality of psi-tech since its inception.
I do not doubt that TRV works anything that causes you to focus on your inner thoughts will; and besides it is a simplified version of CRV. What I find interesting is that the students are beginning to percieve the convictions of the teacher…. prudence’s grey dude (courney’s student)… courtney’s galactic federation. Later.

I’ll just toss in my $0.02 worth as a relative newcomer to RV (5 months).

During my initial period of trying to figure out who was reasonable & who wasn’t, who was crazy & who wasn’t, etc. I learned very quickly that the RV community is political, much as any other community is.

So far, I have found the HRVG to be the most reasonably-minded group around… and believe me, I’ve looked. Other decent sorts I’ve had some back-n-forth with would be Lyn Buchanan, Dale Graff, and a number of the individuals on the old "paradigm-sys" mailing list run by PJ Gaenir. Joe McMoneagle, though I haven’t had a chance to correspond with him, is also someone I really have grown to respect.

One pattern that I saw emerging very early on was what I now call the "Ed Dames versus Everyone" phenomenon. Various RV groups may have their mutual differences, but it is pretty widely accepted that Psi-Tech is in a whole other… category. Even in the few months that I’ve been active in RV-land, I’ve repeatedly watched Ed & Psi-Tech misrepresent their previous predictions & distort the story of his involvement in the government RV research. It finally came down (for me) to a question of who I was willing to believe. There’s 3/4 of the RV community on the one side saying that Ed filled the role of "X", and has a track record of "Y"… and on the other side there’s Ed & Psi-Tech, essentially claiming that the whole rest of the RV world are incompetent liars.

So, I’ve decided not be believe Ed, and not to bother myself in the least with Psi-Tech’s "predictions".

When I see Psi-Tech shut off access to a whole state just to supress the dissenting opinions of a small group like HRVG, I realize that ignoring Ed is likely the best RV-related decision this newbie has made yet.

Look, I don’t have any problem with Psi-Tech prophesizing doom and gloom, however, if they claim that they are using remote viewing (Technical for that matter) then it is only appropriate that they present the session data for us all to analyze and draw our own conclusions.

It is one thing to claim to be psychic or a prophet or a channeler, whereby the methods of verifying the claims are almost non-existent. However if one uses remote viewing in the fashion Psi-Tech does, then there are session data on paper, scientifically and statistically verifiable, the problem is that Psi-Tech refuses to post the session data.

So where does that leave us? Well, in my opinion Ed Dames could have made up all of his doom and doom claims, we just don’t know. The so called predictions of his are not that spectacular either. Those sort of predictions can easily be made by closely following the announcements of the scientific community and the news media.

Come on, if he can predict intergalatic stellar disruptions, then he should be able to tell us where the next earthquake over 6.0 on the Richter Scale will occur. I have not heard him tackle such a challange. It is easy to say that Mammoth mountain may blow one day because that’s what most geologists have been saying for quite some time now.

Anyway, I’m glad to hear that you have decided to learn remote viewing. However if I may make a point, why would you want to pay hundreds of dollars to learn remote viewing from Psi-Tech when we will offer free online, person-to-person instruction here at HRVG.

Why do I sense that you have already made up your mind? Could it be that you are already a TRV student. Well even if you are, you are more than welcome to sign up for the on-line instruction. We take delight in sharing opinions and thoughts on how to improve the skill of remote viewing in any shape or form.

Good thought John. After-all, Art Bell tells his listeners to turn off the radio if they don’t like gloom and doom stuff. What better way to turn off than to make it in-accessable by the source itself?

There have been times in the past certain aspects of the earths’ condition have been worse, we are slowly learning to take care of our planet mother. As to TRV being viable, it is!! I would like nothing better than to have a good rapport with Psi-Tech and all remote viewers. It’s just that I and so many others have been kicked around by psi-tech so much we just aren’t going to take it anymore. Arrogance and attacks do not endear you to the rest of the world. Psi-Tech needs to understand. If they leave us alone we will leave them alone. If they continue to attack us we will continue to defend ourselves. Its pretty simple. Don’t play with the beehive.

It is a horrible document that paints a picture of a company out of control, pushing insane predictions and garbage on an unsuspecting public. I have not published it because It turns my stomach just to see all that crap consolidated and in the same pile. It is not what we are trying to accomplish at HRVG! We just want to Remote View. We want Psi-Tech to avoid us like the plague. We spend, or rather I spend a lot of time making sure we can defend ourselves from their attacks.

It’s about keeping our own dignity and struggling to make some headway in the development of RV.

If it wasn’t for the potential harm, both to individuals and remote viewing, they would be more to be pitied than censored. Many of you may live on an island but PSI TECH is becoming an island. Can you possibly ban and block all intelligent discourse?

What a pity and a shame this is. I know that I am responsible for part of this. Joni blames your group for my abdication. Sorry for the rant above, I’m just pretty put out with those guys. When I discovered that the Hawaii servers were all put on K-line that popped my cork. Banning an entire state sounds a bit extreme to me, especially since Ed lives in Hana on Maui. Its good that you have continued to search for the truth these last few years in the RV community. Your transcripts and time are much appreciated. Your have never risen to anger (I can’t say that :) and have contributed much. I read your posts with interest and look forward to your next one :)

Nope sorry I have never posted there.Because I agree with some of Dames points I am deceiving you? Are you as paranoid as those you accuse? I hope it isn’t catchy. Thank goodness I do not run any Remote Viewing orginizations or may end up with the same disorder.

This whole mess is enough to make anyone paranoid. There is a certain amount of madness running about and I hope to God it is not really catching. Some of the things that I have seen and heard in the past couple of years are beyond understanding.

Sorry, Glenn, I am afraid that I was angry in the post I typed just a few moments ago. I am sick to death of all of this and I am just on the fringes. I can’t imagine how those of you in the thick of it must feel.

I want this all to go away so we can get down to remote viewing but I don’t think Joni has it in her to let things go. You have become her target. I feel that she always has to have a target and you are elected….for the moment. I still can’t help feeling sorry for her. There is some need in her that is only fulfilled with ‘battle’. She should have been a Marine. She has to have an enemy. An outside force to be vanquished. In the end, she destroys herself and Dames and probably PSI TECH, if it goes on long enough.

I understand your feelings. I can deal with Joni just fine. Inbetween we will all get some RV in :)

I more than anyone would love it if they would give us some slack.
We have been working pretty hard to get our organization level up to snuff since I now have a heap of folks with over a year and a half training.
Look at the MJ001 stuff when it goes up! All double blind with the analystical method intact for discussion. It is a new day for us. Our only shortfall is the lack of a competent CRV instructor to come out and give us some training :)
