Art Bell returns to the helm of Coast To Coast AM on February 5th.  That has to be good news for Major Ed Dames, who was always a popular and regular guest on Art's show. Look for Art and Major Dames to team up again soon on a station near you.

Dames is once again teaching privately, teaming up with FM Bonsall to do individualized instruction to small groups in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Dames lives in Kihei, Maui. He left Psi Tech and is now running the Technical Remote Viewing Institute.

Joni Dourif, now president of Psi Tech has moved the company from Maui to Seattle. Dourif is busy producing a new set of TRV instructional tapes.

Gabrielle Pettingell has joined Paul Smith at RVIS, Inc.  Ms. Pettingell served for four years in the government's "Star Gate" remote viewing program at Fort Meade, MD--from 1987 to 1991. She was trained as a remote viewer in 1987 and later served as the unit's operations and training officer.  Gabrielle is assisting Paul as  Director of Operations for RVIS, Inc. According to published information on their website, her goal is to increase exponentially the number of quality remote viewers in the world.

Also joining RVIS is Col. Bill Ray. Bill Ray, is a former Commander of the Ft Meade RV Unit and one of the five military viewers trained by Ingo Swann. Bill spent over three and one half years with the Ft Meade Unit and has spent approximately eleven and one half years involved with Remote Viewing. He taught a CRV course in Europe for several years.

Angela Thompson Smith, of Remote Viewing Consulting LLC is calling all viewers to participate in an experiment which she calls "a definitive study of RV  characteristics; viewers and environment." She is looking for 100 viewers who were trained either schools run by the ex-military or one of the schools resulting as branches or offshoots of these schools. Viewers will be expected to fill out a comprehensive questionnaire containing personal data such as their contact information, handedness, level of training, type of training, gender, age, etc.

Targets will be viewed blind, and viewers will be assigned by a third party in order to keep the investigator blind to the identity of the viewers.

Prudence Calabrese of TDS is busy holding Remote Healing workshops in Southern and Northern California. Pru has also coined a new term for her methodology- Knosomatics. From her website (www.largeruniverse.com) we get the definition: "From the roots Knosis (mind/knowledge) and Soma(body) - which refers to our integrated, holistic practice of using our intellect, mind, and body to achieve what we believe is the next generation of remote viewing andsimilar paraconscious techniques."

Lyn Buchanan continues to teach Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced CRV courses. But he says writing and re-writing three books has curbed his ability to do much else. Lyn wants to focus on medical diagnostics, archeology, scientific and industrial research & development. He's also interested in developing what he calls "chance-score enhancements."

The Hawaii Remote Viewers' Guild continues to train and expand. The Guild now has an operational group of viewers developed from it's On Line Training program. The Guild recently assisted in the search for a mission boy in upstate New York (waiting for feedback at time of publication) and viewers also did an interesting future project recently  involving the first manned mission to Mars, which may be presented soon. And an ambitious project on the disappearance of Amelia Earhart is nearing completion.
