Remote Viewing and the Deaf
GATHERING SOUNDS

by John Pacifico

John P Did I just hear that? Did I just smell it? What does it feel like? What’s the temperature? While working Playfair in the HRVG protocals, all of my senses are brought into play gathering low level data on a given target. I work quickly and really try to suppress any thoughts about how I should gather this data, and just calmly notice it and write it down. Keeping the imagination monster at bay while remote viewing is always a major task. For some strange reason, I always do well in the column that’s lists all the sounds I gather from the target I’m working, as opposed to getting vivid smells or textures. And the main reason that makes this very strange is that I can’t hear at all.

Being physically challenged when it comes to hearing has never been an obstacle for me while remote viewing. In fact I think it actually helps a little, since other remote viewers sometimes complain of outside sounds interfering with their session work. But I’ve never really given it much thought as to how it helps me. The only strange thing seems to be that I do better than the average remote viewer when it comes to gathering sounds on a target. And I have no idea if this would be something that all deaf remote viewers would experience, but it has been a peculiar occurrence for me.

I remember working one of Dick Allgires’ targets, it was a funeral pyre. While working my Playfair matrix I got a quick one second visual of group of people, chanting and moaning, in somewhat of a religious fashion. The sounds really jumped out at me. I could feel and sense and also clearly “hear” the deep moaning and wailing of the small group of people. When I found out after I got feedback on this target, that it was a funeral it all made sense. While working the target, I could not fathom why this group was chanting and wailing. At the time, the sounds coming from these people did not startle me too much, since it’s happened time and time again while remote viewing and has become somewhat ordinary. I think if I heard something like this while walking down the street I would have had a heart attack, since no matter how loud a sound is, it’s always very muted to me, or I just feel the vibration associated with it.

Remote viewing has opened a door for me and confirmed that yes I can hear while gathering data. What does that mean to me when I’m not remote viewing? Well, I am envious of these brief states when I can perceive sounds and it does give me hope of someday figuring out a way to “supplement” my inability to hear. How this might happen I have no idea, but it is a fascinating prospect.

I should also point out that many times while remote viewing I also just intuit the sounds coming from the target. Which means, I just know what sounds are present, rather than actually hearing them. This ability to “know” grows as a person continues to let go and just perceive the data flow coming from any target. The speed maintained during a session does not give me much time to really think about how I just got that information, since thinking is not allowed while remote viewing, especially if you are to stay focused and not wonder off into other realms and in turn loose contact with the target.

The area of remote viewing and being deaf needs much research. I’m sure in the future, the more talented remote viewers who can bring back very accurate data on just about any target, will be able to tackle problems associated with enhancing ones senses in real life. Until that time, all we can do is hone our remote viewing skills and continue to work in areas, most people would not be bold enough to venture into.

[We have added a session done by John Pacifico on one of the HRVG's regular weekly homework targets. The work was turned in prior to the feedback, under HRVG chain of custody requirements. It shows some very nice contact with the target, which in this case was the burning and sinking of the S.S. Normandie during World War II.]
