Nature sliding / Mount Rainier National Park, Washington / photographic timeline

A 'nature sliding' party on the perpetual snow slopes below Paradise Glacier. These parties are under guide direction. Individuals are equipped with the famous 'tin trousers.' The seats of these trousers are paraffined. Parties are seated together on the snow and slide long distances.
