SWAT officers surround a hotel in the Chatsworth section of Los 
Angeles, where the car of a possible suspect in the North Valley 
Jewish Community Center shooting was parked, Tuesday, Aug. 10, 
1999. The hotel was surrounded by police and guests were 
evacuated before a small group of SWAT officers moved into the 
largely darkened building just before 9 p.m.
